About Us

IDB Systems has many years of experience in the design, support and manufacture of a wide range of high technology electronic equipment boards and systems trading from a 4500 square foot business unit located in North Wales where products are designed and manufactured.

Through the acquisition of Industrial Development Bangor (IDB) in June 2011, the company acquired further expertise in simultaneous interpretation, electrostatic instruments and precision engineering. In 2016 IDB Systems invested in surface mount assembly and re-work equipment to bring in-house our circuit board assembly processes. Further investment in a range of CNC milling and turning equipment enabled the company to bring in-house machining of our chassis and enclosures. By the end of 2016 IDB Systems were awarded a Quality Assurance Notification to permit the manufacture of equipment suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres and launched our first ATEX certified Hazardous Area Personnel Test Meter (HAPTM).
